Whitby

For the last six years he has worked at Whitby Folk Week where he has MC’d the Folk Club and performed in various concerts as well as leading sessions, singarounds and workshops.

Andy enjoys singing traditional ballads as well as music hall and comic songs and monologues.  He accompanies himself on concertina, melodeon and banjo and regularly plays whistles and recorders.  He has even been known to play bagpipes.

In 2004 and 2009 he was invited by the St George’s Society to perform at Symphony Hall in Birmingham for the annual St George’s day concert.  Recently as part of the Black Diamond Folk Club he performed on Radio West Midlands.
